London Euston Trains
Euston Station, also known as London Euston, is the fifth-busiest train station in Britain and the country's busiest inter-city passenger terminal. It provides a gateway from London to the West Midlands, North West England, North Wales and Scotland.
High-speed intercity services are run by Avanti West Coast and overnight services to Scotland are provided by the Caledonian Sleeper, while regional and commuter services are operated by London Northwestern Railway.
Euston railway station is a central London railway terminus on Euston Road in the London Borough of Camden, managed by Network Rail. The station is in central London and close to Kings Cross, Regent's Park, Somers Town and Bloomsbury.
It is the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line to Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Central. It is also the mainline station for services to and through Birmingham New Street, and to Holyhead for connecting ferries to Dublin.
Local suburban services from Euston are run by London Overground via the Watford DC Line which runs parallel to the WCML as far as Watford Junction.
There is an escalator link from the concourse down to Euston tube station. Euston Square tube station is also nearby whilst King's Cross and St Pancras railway stations are further down Euston Road.
Euston Underground Station is on both the Victoria and the Northern Line and is near to St Pancras International Station for the Eurostar.
Plan Your London Euston Train Journey
Travel by train to London can often be costly. You can however reduce the cost of your train ticket to London quite considerably by following these simple travel tips:-
Split Your Euston Train Tickets
Split ticketing is something many seasoned passengers on Thatto Heath to London Euston trains already practice and is where instead of having one train ticket to take you to Euston from Thatto Heath the journey is broken down into two or more parts with a separate rail ticket for each sector where the train stops.
For example, if you wanted to travel from Station A to Station D, you would expect to buy a ticket direct from A to D. However, you may find it a lot cheaper to buy a ticket from A to B, and another from B to C and still another from C to D for a cheaper combined train ticket price. This is especially true when not all sectors of your journey are during peak time.
Split Ticketing is legal and permitted by the National Rail Conditions of Carriage but can be confusing. To take advantage of the huge savings you could enjoy from splitting your Thatto Heath to London Euston train tickets click here to visit our dedicated split train ticket page.
