           Birmingham New Street Railway Station is the gateway for long-distance trains serving destinations from Aberdeen to Penzance and connecting major cities such as Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Cambridge, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Leicester, Nottingham, Cardiff, Reading, Basingstoke, Southampton, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Stansted Airport and Stoke-on-Trent.
